Dungeon Craft predates PoBros. Alex and Miguel Portilla created it with Vinnie Falco through their earlier company, Game Spring. The game combined real-time strategy and adventure with 16-bit color at a resolution of 800×600.

Its features included dynamic lighting, layered graphics that could automatically hide foreground elements, four-way split-screen multiplayer, persistent characters, multiple parties, and support for multiple adventures.
